Gia Borghini is a brand founded in 2016 by Italian entrepreneurial designer Barbara Borghini. After studying Communication & Marketing in Rome she continued her education with am master in Fashion Design in Florence. After working some time in the industry, she saw her chance to lance her own shoe brand. Gia Borghini is named after Barbara’s daughter Ginevra, who is her most powerful source of inspiration.

The power behind Gia Borghini is building long-term partnerships with several trusted insiders within the fashion industry. For example, the well-known Danish stylist and influencer Pernille Teisbaek was appointed creative director in the spring of 2021.
