Born in 1967, Isabel studied at Studio Berçot from 1985 to 1987. Two years later she created her first costume jewelry and accessories line. In 1990, she launched "Twen", a line of jersey and knitwear, which will become Isabel Marant four years later. In the Spring/summer 1995, she presented her first fashion show. In 2000, wanting to develop her brand further, she started Etoile : a more casual and affordable line.
