About Barena
Barena Venezia is a small family business from Italy. The name Barena originated to the style of the country people of Venice. The term “baro” means “surfaced land,” which refers to an important feature of the Venetian landscape where both hunting and fishing were practiced by slow sailing on a ‘sanpierotta’. That’s the flat-bottomed boat depicted on the brand’s logo. “Nothing inspires us more than life by the sea and in the lagoon” says Pigozzo the creative director of Barena.
