About Stella McCartney
Stella McCartney, daughter of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and American photographer Linda Eastman, was born in 1971 in the fashion capital of London. Despite having famous parents, Stella is normally educated at a public primary school in Sussex. Young Stella caught the fashion virus early on and made her first coat at the age of 12. Three years later, 15-year-old Stella McCartney contributed as an intern to Christian Lacroix’s first haute couture collection.
